1. What is the difference between WinRocket and RAMRocket?
WinRocket removes the bottlenecks that can prevent your computer from functioning optimally in order to improve the speed of all of your software applications. It does this by making adjustments to the way your system manages its memory (cache, virtual memory, swap file, etc.), allowing your system to operate more efficiently. This software can improve the performance of every program you run on your computer.

RAMRocket dumps all of the junk data and old library files from your precious RAM to boost your system's performance—something that normally requires shutting down and restarting. RAMRocket unleashes the speed and performance of your PC by defragmenting and clearing your system's memory. The more RAM you have in your system, the more RAMRocket can be beneficial to you. With RAMRocket, you can prevent problems before they start by making sure your computer always has enough memory available.

These two programs work especially well when used together because they use different methods to optimize your system.

2. What does WinRocket do?
WinRocket speeds up your computer's system and removes the bottlenecks that can prevent your computer from functioning optimally in order to improve the speed of all of your software applications.

With WinRocket's Startup Manager, you can finally discover all the applications that start themselves automatically and block the bad ones. After you optimize your PC with a single click and then eliminate unnecessary applications from your startup sequence, you'll be able to enjoy a much faster system, reducing or even eliminating crashes, freezing, or weird behavior. You can block any software no matter what tricks it uses to try to get Windows to load itself automatically. Each program you take out of your machine's “startup” sequence frees up resources and makes Windows run that much faster.

WinRocket is compatible with all processors and hardware configurations capable of running Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7 including systems based on Intel, AMD, and Cyrix and works on desktop and portable computers running at any speed.

3. How does it work?
WinRocket adjusts your computer's cache (pronounced CASH) settings to make its usage more efficient.

NEW: Startup Manager
When Windows starts up, it is often quite slow; most of the time this is because of too many programs cluttering up your computer's startup process. The Startup Manager allows users to easily view a complete list of all programs that start up with Windows — not just the programs Windows lists as startup items. Many other programs start up with Windows, including spyware and adware, as well as programs that are harmless but unnecessary.

4. Why do I need WinRocket when I can edit the startup items myself?
There are five locations in which your computer stores startup items. Expert users can edit these registry settings yourself, but there are two reasons why it's better to use WinRocket:

Safety: Editing the registry yourself can be very dangerous, even for expert users. WinRocket is safe, easy, and fast. A key phrase could be “Let WinRocket do the work.”

Time: The amount of time it would take to go through these five locations manually and regularly is simply not worth it! For a one-time small cost, WinRocket will do it for you as often as you want, safely and quickly.
