Why Do I Get the Error "invalid account type" When Signing into the Mobile Application?
This appears if you have installed the incorrect app for your account type.
Where Can I Find the Windows 8 App? - How To Install
The Windows 8 app is supported on Windows 8 computers and tablets.
Currently the app is not supported on Windows 8 mobile phones as it is in the development stages for a later release. For any updates, please visit our blog.
The app can be found within the Windows 8 store. To install:

- Click on the Store application
- Search Livedrive
- Click Install
- Once installed, click on Livedrive on your Start menu
- Then login!

I can't login using the Windows 8 app
If you are having issues logging in once the app has been installed, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Start screen
- Find the Livedrive app
- Hold CTRL + right click your mouse OR if you have a touch screen monitor, click on in the right hand corner of the app icon and drag down until a tick appears in the corner.
- Click Uninstall
- Once uninstalled, reinstall the app from the Windows 8 app store. For help on installing the app, click here.
- Once reinstalled, login.
Livedrive should connect you to your Cloud account.
