About ActiveSpeed

ActiveSpeed optimizes your current Internet connection on the Windows system level. Since it makes modifications on the system level, it speeds up everything you do on the internet but does not directly affect any of your Internet applications. ActiveSpeed works with all Internet connections and Internet Providers running Windows (95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP).

Unlike other "Internet boosters" that use caching technology (which doesn't actually increase overall Internet speed but improves the loading of frequently visited pages), ActiveSpeed improves everything you do on the Internet. ActiveSpeed actually modifies the transfer of data regardless of whether or not you have visited the page before. You would also notice this speed increase when using any type of Internet application (for example, but not limited to, reading email, web browsing, and downloading pictures and video).

ActiveSpeed actually learns while you surf, boosting your Internet faster and faster over time. You will still connect at the same rate -- for example, a 28,800 bps connection, however the more you use ActiveSpeed, the more efficient your connection becomes. It intelligently keeps track of your usage patterns and optimizes your connection to make your downloads transfer more efficiently.

ActiveSpeed's patent-pending Intelligent Optimization Engine is not available in any other product.
