Instructions for Installing Windows Script 5.6
Use this page if you were instructed to download Microsoft's Scripting Runtime installer by Ascentive's Support team. Follow these instructions:
- If your Operating System is Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, use the first Download Now link. If your Operating System is Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me, use the second Download Now link.
Click on the appropriate link below to begin your download.
- If you are given the option to Run or Save, select Run each time to download and begin the install process.
- When installation begins, you will be asked, "Are you sure you want to install Windows Script 5.6?" Select Yes.
- Agree to the Microsoft EULA (select Yes again).
You will see the installation process begin and get a confirmation when it has finished. Be sure to restart your computer when the installation has finished.
