24. Intro to Modes - Why Have Modes?
 Not everyone has the same system, and no two people's computers run exactly alike. Factors such as connection type, modem hardware, and memory all come into play. Because of these and other differences, it is important for each user to have different options to select from when optimizing their connections.
You may also have a personal preference. Many people will be able to get through the Learning Phase of the Intelligent Mode, which is a lengthy process. Others may not be so patient, or simply might not have enough time to devote to the Learning Phase. For them, QuickOptimize would be the desired mode.
