27. Intelligent Mode - Different Phases
The Intelligent Mode of ActiveSpeed has two different phases: the Learning Phase and the Power Phase.
The Power Phase is the phase during which you will spend most of your time. However, the Learning Phase may be the most important phase.
During the Learning Phase, your connection undergoes a series of speed tests. Each test is a different step of the phase, and is designed to learn about your connection and determine the best way of boosting your speed. After each step is completed your computer will be prompted to restart. During this phase, your connection will be slower than usual. This is normal.
Once you have completed the final step and restarted one last time, the Intelligent Mode will enter the Power Phase. During this Phase, ActiveSpeed will use what it has learned about your connection to provide the best speed increase for your purposes. The more you use it, the more it adapts to you!
