8. Speed Manager Window - Main Screen

Speed Manager Button The Speed Manger Window is your control center for using ActiveSpeed. From this window you can optimize your Internet and change a host of other options.

To open the Speed Manager Window, click on the "tool" icon at the bottom of the Main Console screen.

The Speed Manager Window contains four "tabs," each with their own subset of functions. These four tabs are:
  • The ActiveSpeed Tab contains product overview and version information, descriptions of the Speed Modes, and links to Ascentive and the Support Center.

  • The Speed Mode Tab allows you to select and optimize under the different Speed Modes.

  • The Speed Info Tab keeps record of your optimization history (for QuickOptimize settings) and lets you conduct your own speed test using "Quick Speed Test."

  • The Settings Tab gives you access to ActiveSpeed's various options and personal settings.
