1. Will it work behind a proxy server firewall?
Yes! Any program that requires access to the Internet, ActivePrivacy for example, can be used behind your proxy server firewall. To do that, just adjust the proxy settings in your program. Please see the step-by-step guides to see these instructions. Ascentive's staff will not know which proxy settings you will need to use. Your ISP or network administrator can give you your proxy settings.

2. I am having trouble connecting.

3. I need my serial numbers to use the program.

4. I need my username and password to login.

5. My computer is not automatically rebooting.
It is necessary to reboot when you have installed software or optimized your computer. Not all computers will reboot automatically from the software, so it's ok to use the reset button and run scan disk if Windows prompts you to do so. You may also select “no” when prompted to restart your computer and use the Windows Start Menu restart instead. You will only need to reboot when you are installing the software or using the program to optimize your settings.

6. My screen is completely blank and my keyboard and mouse do nothing.
Your Computer or Monitor power switch is set to the off position. Please be sure they are both set to the on position so you can continue using your Ascentive software.

Make sure that your Computer and Monitor power switch is set to the on position.

7. My custom settings did not change after optimization.
When you make changes using the custom settings under Detailed Optimizations, they are not always automatically reloaded the next time you use your software. This avoids compatibility problems on systems that don't support higher values. However, the changes made to your system are intact.

8. I am seeing an error and would like to report it.
