Getting Errors Fixed
Fixing the iphlpapi error. (Error 48)
In order to fix this problem, you'll need to download the library file to a specified location on your computer. Below are two sets of instructions depending on what Operating System you are using.
If you have Windows 95, 98, or Me:
- Click here to download IPHLPAPI.DLL
(right click the text on the left and save to your Desktop)
- Back up your current copy of IPHLPAPI.DLL and copy the new version to the same file location. This file should be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory on your C: drive. (for most users the path is C:\Windows\System).
- Restart your computer.
Download IPHLPAPI.DLL now (right-click on the link and select “Save Target as...”).
If you have Windows NT, 2000, or XP:
- Click here to download iphlpapi.dll
(right click the text on the left and save to your Desktop).
- Back up your current copy of iphlpapi.dll and copy the new version to the same file location. This file should be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory on your C: drive. (for most users the path is C:\Windows\System32).
- Restart your computer.
Download iphlpapi.dll now (right-click on the link and select “Save Target as...”).
