3.Do customers have to go to BeAware.com to see what
BeAware has recorded?
4.Does BeAware have a "stealth mode"?
5.Can customers use BeAware to monitor other computers?
6.What is BeAware.com ?
Answer: BeAware monitors all computer activity by showing you exactly what appears on the screen as frequently as you set it to do so. BeAware is compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP.
Answer: In addition to capturing all activity using Screen Watch, BeAware allows customers to record emails and chats as text files and record visited web site addresses. Here are the programs that these special BeAware features record (in addition to ScreenWatch):
    Web Mail
  • Sent and received email
  • Internet Explorer required
  • Yahoo!
  • Hotmail
  • MSN
  • AOL
    Desktop Email Clients
  • Sent Emails
  • Outlook
  • Outlook Express (Version 5+)
  • Eudora
  • AOL 9.0 & SE
  • IncrediMail
Answer: They do not have to go to BeAware.com and login to see what BeAware has recorded. They can use the BeAware program itself to check up on screen captures, chats, and everything else. They will only need to use BeAware.com if they wish to see the recorded activity remotely (from a different computer).

What other options are there?
They should make sure all three items at the bottom of the BeAware program are checked (see below).

Also make sure that the option to have BeAware start when Windows starts is checked. This way a restart of the computer will not shut down the BeAware program!

Answer: In fact, BeAware runs totally in secret by default. The program won't display in the system tray or task bar while it's running and it does not make any sounds.

Other ways customers can keep BeAware from being detected:
  • Do not put or keep a shortcut icon on their Desktop.
  • By default, BeAware will install in the Program Folder directory, but they don't need to put it there! You can install BeAware into any obscure and out of the way directory. Just make sure they know where they put it!
  • Make sure they have turned off the Notification feature under ChatWatch.
  • Finally, in case BeAware is discovered, make sure customers have set a password so no one can turn off BeAware or delete the data that it recorded.
Answer: With the latest release of BeAware, customers can REMOTELY install BeAware on other computers of the same network (you must have admin privileges to perform a remote install). This is great for supervisors with an office full of employees who use the Internet.
Answer: powerful surveillance program, and it works with the utmost stealth. However, when it's time to view the material it gathers, be it instant messages, screen shots, or e-mails, the customer may not want to take a chance on viewing it all from their computer and possibly blowing their cover. Or they might want to keep frequent tabs on their computer while at work or on vacation. That's where BeAware.com comes in.

The BeAware.com service enhances the power of BeAware, with additional storage capability, content alerts e-mailed straight to the customer, and what's more, the ability to see all of the chats, screen shots, e-mails and websites monitored on their computer-from any other computer in the world.
